Winnie Jones Pace, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on May 14, 2016 at the age of 69 in her home.
Winnie was a native of Innis, LA and resident of Denham Springs, LA. She was a graduate of Spencer Business College and retired from the Department of Labor after forty-one years of service.
Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm. Visitation on Monday will resume at 9:00am. Pastor Greg Beatty will conduct funeral services in the funeral home chapel at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Riley William Jones and Ela Gaspard Jones; two sisters Gloria Jones Howard, and Ruby Jones Short, and brother, Riley William "R.W." Jones, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of forty-six years, Preston C. Pace, two daughters, Sonya and husband Charles Bueche and Lesha Pace Landry; three grandsons, Preston Chantz Landry, Justin Benjamin Thompson, and Collin Joseph Bueche, one granddaughter, Chloe Grace Bueche and one great grandson, Preston Luke Landry. She is also survived by four sisters, Sylvia Jones Moffat, Hattie Jones Bixby, Cheryl Jones Beam and Linda Jones, four brothers, Roger Jones, Russell Jones, Ronald Jones and Robert Jones and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She enjoyed gardening, fishing and sporting events; she loved watching her grandchildren play sports and even coached them in her younger years.
Pallbearers will be Chantz Landry, Justin Thompson, Collin Bueche, Charles Bueche, Tommy Pace and Johnny Stockton.
