Carroll passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at his residence at the age of 89.
He was a retired Lab Tech with Kaiser Aluminum; a resident of Plaquemine and a native of Addis, LA.
A US Navy Veteran having served in WWII aboard the USS Black Hawk in the Pacific Theater.
Visiting will be at First Baptist Church, Plaquemine on Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 9am until religious services at 11am, conducted by Pastor Stephen Byrd. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Charlynn Coker and husband Michael, Sid Quatrevingt, Gregory Gulotta and wife Debbie, Belinda Gulotta, Missy Koulpasis and husband Dave, Mary Sue Gulotta, Floretta Gulotta, Robert Rabalais and wife Sharon, Renee Leveron and husband Todd, Daniel Rabalais and wife Leslie, David Rabalais and wife Aimee, Denise Barker and husband Tony and Richard Rabalais; and sister in law, Rose Quatrevingt and husband Sidney.
Preceded in death by wife, Annie Gullotta Rabalais; brother, Robert “Bobby” Rabalais; parents, Walter and Louise LaBauve Rabalais; and niece and nephews, Desiree Rafflee, Chief Orian Gulotta and Mayor Tony Gulotta.
Pallbearers will be Sid Quatrevingt, Robert Rabalais, Dave Koulpasis, Gregory Gulotta, Hilton Guidry and Brent Coker.
He was a member of the Acacia Lodge and First Baptist Church of Plaquemine. He also enjoyed painting, hunting and fishing.
