Helen Branch James died 4:22 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 24, 1992, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.
She was 73, a native and resident of Plaquemine. She was a retired insurance agent.
Visiting at Carter and Sons Mortuary, Plaquemine, 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Wake services at St. Peter Baptist Church, Plaquemine, 8 p.m. Sunday. Religious services at 11 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Van Smith. Burial in Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine.
Survived by two devoted grandsons, Peter and Ludwick Henry, both of New Roads; a daughter-in-law, Agnes, New Roads; a granddaughter-in-law, Taryln, New Roads; a sister, Ruby B. Smith, Plaquemine; and two brothers, Alex M. Branch, New Orleans, and Willie W. Branch, Plaquemine.
