Clair Anita Folse Babin died at 11:20 a.m. Friday, April 20, 1984, at Rhodes J. Spedale General Hospital in Plaquemine. She was 86 and was a native of Iberville Parish and resident of Plaquemine.
Visitation will be at Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine from 4:30 to 10 p.m. Sunday and 8 to 9:45 a.m. Monday. Services will be at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plaquemine, at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will follow in Grace Memorial Park in Plaquemine.
She is survived by five daughters, Lillian Fama, Lucille Pierce, Ruth Ann Barrett and Elaine Granger, all of Plaquemine, and Leona Bayham, Grosse Tete; five sons, Erwin, Stone, Robert, Gene and Allen J. Babin, Jr., all of Plaquemine; a sister, Cleta Hebert, Plaquemine; 34 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
