A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church, Estherwood for Judy Mott Schexnayder, 91, who died, Monday, October 31, 2016 at 6:22 a.m.
Fr. Clint Trahan will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. A rosary will be recited Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. by Deacon Tom Sommers. Burial will be in the Estherwood Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Schexnayder is survived by one son, Matthew Schexnayder and wife Michelle of Midland; two grandchildren, Sidney M. Schexnayder and wife Kadi of Iota, Mary Schexnayder of Midland; two great-grandchildren, Trenton M. Schexnayder of Iota and Makayliee E. Schexnayder of Midland; two sisters-in-law, Genevieve Motte of Ardoin Cove and Edith Mott of Roanoke.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney M. Schexnayder; one infant daughter, Sharon Schexnayder; her parents, Ornice and Mary Bellard Mott; three sisters, Lessie Dardo, Birdie Derouen and Joyce Blanchard; two brothers, Etienne and Burley Mott.
