ESTHERWOOD - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Janelle R. Pommier, 63, at St. Margaret Catholic in Estherwood, LA at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 with Rev. Randy Moreau as Celebrant. Visitation will be held at Duhon Funeral Home Chapel-Crowley on Monday, October 17, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00PM and will resume on Tuesday at 8:00 AM until just prior to the time of service. Interment will follow the church service and will be in Estherwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Pommier passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Lafayette General Hospital-Southwest.
Mrs. Pommier is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Noelton Pommier of Estherwood, LA; children, Amanda Gail Cashat and her husband, Wille of Gueydan, LA, Michael Joe Pommier of Estherwood, LA; granddaughter, Reanna Page Cashat of Gueydan, LA; brothers, Ricky Romero and his wife, Tammy Romero of Lafayette, LA and Jimmy Romero of Crowley, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dalton Joseph Romero, Sr and Mary Odelle Trumps Romero; sister, Gloria Romero; brother, Dalton Joseph Romero, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Ozalle and Joe Trumps; paternal grandparents, Rosita and Adam Romero.
Pallbearers will be Michael Pommier, Ernest “Boo” Istre and Terry Quibodeaux.
