JENNINGS - Funeral services for Mr. Joseph Kibodeaux, 87, will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, March 2, 2010 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Doug Broyles and Mr. J. C. Bailey officiating.
Burial with full military honors will be in the Estherwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 1st from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Mr. Kibodeaux died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010 at 3:20 p.m. in the Jennings American Legion Hospital.
He was a native of Mermentau and had resided in Jennings for the past sixty years moving here from Estherwood. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Jennings Church of Christ and the American Legion.
Mr. Kibodeaux is survived by his wife, Esther Dupuis Kibodeaux of Jennings, a daughter; Geraldine Moore and her husband Dan of Northport, AL., a son; Ronald G. Kibodeaux of Northport, AL. three grandchildren; Stacie Flinn, Kristie Boatner and Dan Joseph Elmore and 11 great grandchildren.
